Nagoya Plastic Industry Sdn. Bhd. is an integrated contract manufacturer based in Lunas, Kedah. We bring precision injection moulding, secondary processes, assembly and packaging together under one quality management system, serving four regulated industries: medical device & IVD, automotive, aerospace, and electronic & electrical.
We have expanded in every decade since we began. From rented premises in 1991, we opened our first factory in 1996 and have grown to ten factories in 2026, nine of them on our Lunas campus and one in Kulim Hi-Tech Park. That growth continues: an ISO Class 8 assembly and packaging cleanroom is targeted for Q2 2027, and a new factory at Kulim Hi-Tech Park is planned for 2028.

Our LMW licence means components you supply for assembly or box-build can enter without import duty or sales tax, subject to customs conditions.

Programmes run under confidentiality agreements with physical and digital separation. Continuity planning, tooling protection and inventory strategy are agreed with each customer.

01Mould tooling management
Designed, specified and approved by Nagoya; fabricated by qualified partners in Malaysia and China. Tool maintenance in-house.
02Precision injection moulding
Single-shot, two-shot (2K), insert, overmoulding, vertical, LSR and cleanroom moulding on 113 machines from 40T to 650T.
03Secondary processes and finishing
Spray coating in ISO Class 7 spray cleanrooms, pad, screen and rotary printing, laser cutting, etching and Data Matrix Code marking.
04Assembly and box-build
UV curing, bonding, ultrasonic welding, heat staking and cold-press assembly, with leak, static-load, push-pull and torque testing.
05NPI and technology transfer
A five-stage route from confidentiality agreement and DFM review to validation and serial production, for new products and inbound transfers.
Medical device and IVD contract manufacturing, certified to ISO 13485 since 2011.
A 10,000 sq.ft. ISO Class 8 moulding cleanroom today, with part-level traceability. An 18,000 sq.ft. ISO Class 8 assembly and packaging cleanroom is targeted for qualification in Q2 2027.
