One plastic material is injected into a mould to form the component.
Review material, part geometry and appearance requirements, then define the moulding and inspection approach.
Combine two materials or mould a second layer over an existing part. The equipment setup depends on the process.
Review material compatibility, the interface between layers and the features to be formed.
Position an insert in the mould, then mould plastic around it to integrate the parts.
Plan insert positioning, retention and handling, with inspection after moulding.
Meter and mix two liquid silicone components, then inject them into a heated mould to cure.
Discuss silicone part requirements, tooling and process needs with our team.
Illustrations explain equipment types. The machine, tooling and process are selected to suit your project.

Confidentiality, programme scope, capability and capacity review.
Review drawings and 3D data, materials, tooling strategy and manufacturing cost drivers.
Tool specification, partner fabrication, sampling, dimensional inspection and customer approval.
IQ / OQ / PQ and capability studies to the agreed programme protocol.
Pilot build, control plans, operator qualification and handover to serial production.
| Activity | Nagoya’s role | Partner’s role |
|---|---|---|
| Mould fabrication | Design, specification, approval, maintenance and inbound tool transfer. | Tool fabrication by qualified partners in Malaysia and China. |
| PCBA integration | Integration of finished PCBAs into electromechanical assemblies and box builds. | Supply of completed PCBAs; bare-board assembly is not performed in-house. |
| Sterilization | Management of the validation project and programme coordination. | Execution of validation and sterilization treatment. |
| Micro-precision moulding & custom extrusion | Programme management and supplier oversight. | Specialist manufacturing; these processes are not performed in-house. |
Supplier qualification records, partner audit status and quality agreements are reviewed during programme qualification.
